"Fox Boy" is written from the perspective of a Twitch chatter who thinks they have fallen in love with their favourite streamer. These parasocial relationships are a very real phenomenon, especially in the world of virtual-tubers (streamers that use avatars). "Fox Boy" is part of the album "Sad Drunk and Needy" which tells about the ups and downs of being single again in the digitalized life of ones 20s. The lyrics contain half-hearted fuck yous and glimpses of butterflies.
